Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the opportunity design and implement a wide variety of Java applications. A solid understanding of Object Oriented Design Patterns, Services Oriented Architectures, and Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) is a must. The individual will be responsible for developing/interpreting Web Service Definition Language (WSDL), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and Apache’s Web service Invocation Framework (WSIF) as well as various forms of OMI.
We are seeking a unique individual with a broad range of Java experience and skills who is looking for challenges. This Individual will lead all Java related activities on a team of other extremely talented software and systems engineers.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science.
- Minimum 6 years of experience with Java/J2EE.
- Working knowledge of XML XSD.
- Experience in Web Services design and implementation
- Strong working knowledge of the following: Xerces, JUDDI, Axis Toolkit, Apache HTTP server, JBOSS.
- Minimum 3 years experience developing graphical user displays
- Experience developing applications in Linux environments.
- DOD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
